Terms & Conditions
Before proceeding to rent décor from Grant Your Wish, please make sure you read, understand and agree to the Terms & Conditions that apply to every rental. If you have any questions, give us a call! We will be more than happy to go over anything you need clarification on!

1. A 50% non-refundable retainer fee is required to reserve the items and services you have chosen for your special date. The remaining 50% is due 30 days prior to the event date.

2. The Retainer fee is NON-REFUNDABLE should you cancel your booking for any reason (NO exceptions). You can change the items (add or remove) on your invoice (adding additional items is subject to availability) up to 30 days before your event date and we will adjust the invoice accordingly; however, should your Subtotal fall below the initial payment amount, no refunds for the difference will be provided. No refunds are provided for any cancellations with less than 30 days to the event date.

3. Accepted methods of payment are e-transfer, cash or credit card (5% processing fee).

4. Rentals can be picked up on the Friday before the event weekend at a pre-arranged time and dropped off no later then 7pm on the Monday after the event weekend, at a pre-arranged time. Unless we have agreed in writing to an extended rental period, late returns will be charged a late fee totaling 20% of the total rental contract per day. All pick up and drop off times must be pre-arranged as this is not a store front.

5. A refundable damage deposit is required on all rentals. Rentals under $500 will require a $100 damage deposit; rentals between $500 and $1000 will require a $200 damage deposit; rentals above $1000 to be determined at that time. Once all items have been returned in good condition and on time, you will receive your damage deposit back within 3 days. Any missing, damaged or late fees will be deducted from the damage deposit and the remaining amount will be returned to the client. Replacement cost of all damaged or missing items will be charged as follows: three times the rental fee plus 13% tax.

6. You acknowledge that some of the décor rented to you may be fragile and you will act and care for the décor as any ordinary and reasonable person would. Grant Your Wish will not be liable in any way for personal injury or damage to the property of the client, the client’s guests, invitees, agents, employees, contractors, or any other person except for such injuries or damages caused by gross negligence of Grant Your Wish in the performance of the services contract above. In any event, the liability of Grant Your Wish shall not exceed the total invoice amount, and it is expressly agreed that Grant Your Wish shall in no event be liable to special, indirect, or consequential damages.
7. You also agree to assume full responsibility for all acts and/or omissions, negligence and/or willful, misconduct of guests or other persons at the event venue or assisting with the event in their handling of the décor and for any and all injuries that may result therefrom. You assume one hundred percent (100%) of the risk for you and the guests arising from the rental, use, operation, possession and handling of the décor during the terms of the rental period.

8. All items need to be returned clean of any dirt, liquids, gels, wax residue, food etc. otherwise a cleaning fee will be applied.

9. The rental is a one time use rental fee and does not constitute the purchase of the itemized decor. Theft of any décor may result in criminal prosecution. You agree to pay any and all costs, including reasonable attorney fees, that Grant Your Wish may have to spend in order to collect the rental fee, to regain possession of the décor and/or to collect for damage done to the décor.

10. Force Majeure: Grant Your Wish will not be liable for failure to perform services as per this Rental Agreement if such failure is as a result of Acts of God or Superior Force (including fire, flood, earthquake, storm, hurricane or other natural disaster), pandemic, war, invasion, act of foreign enemies, hostilities (regardless of whether war is declared), civil war, rebellion, revolution, insurrection, military or usurped power or confiscation, terrorist activities, nationalisation, government sanction, blockage, embargo, labour dispute, strike, lockout or interruption or failure of technology, electricity or telephone service. In the event of Force Majeure where either party is unable to perform its obligation under the terms of this Agreement the Initial payment will remain non-refundable but can be transferred to another order or will be kept on file as a credit note to be used towards any event up to 2 years after the original event date.

11. Candles and florals are not included in the rentals unless otherwise specified.

12. Rental minimum for pick-ups and drop-offs is $100 (before delivery fees)

13. By paying the 50% retainer fee, you are agreeing to all the Terms & Conditions on this page.
